ACTIVITES
OF INDUSTRIES ARPARTMENT |
The
main function of the department
is to provide necessary infrastructure
for the promoting the industrial
growth in district. Mohindergarh
district has been declared industrially
backward under the New Industrial
policy 2005 and the following
schemes are being provided to
the new industrial units. |

PRIME MINISTER’S EMPLOYMENT
GENERATION PROGRAMME |
Ministry
of Micro Small & Medium
Enterprises (MSME) Govt of India
has introduced a new scheme
called prime Minister’
s Employment Generation Programme
(PMEGP) by merging the two schemes
namely PMRY & REGP to generate
employment opportunities in
the rural as well as in urban
areas by setting up of new self
employment ventures from the
financial year 2008-9 At the
state level, the scheme will
be implemented by State Distt
. Industries Centers only.
As per scheme, the minimum cost
of project under manufacturing
sector is Rs.25 lacs. And maximum
cost of the project under business/service
sector is Rs. 10 lacs. The beneficiaries
contribution is 5-10% and the
subside range is 15-35% of the
project cost. |

HERYANA INDUSTRIAL PROMOTION RULES
2007 |
The
site of Govt. notifed the Haryana
Industrial Promotion Rules ,
2007 vide Notificaation No 49/43/3007-41B1
dated 6.7.2007 to make mandatory
on the part of various Deptts
& Authorities to provide
single point time bound clearances
, such as issuance of NOC /
Consent from Haryana state pollution
Control Board, change of land
use from Distt. Twon planner
and operation of Industrial
Undertaking in the state. A
Composite Application from (CFA
) has been introduced under
the rule which will be submitted
by the prospective entrepreneurs
having inversiment up to 5 Crors
to the general manager , Distt
Industries Center being the
Nodal Agency. |

INCENTIVES FOR MEGA PROJECTS IN
BACKWARD AREA |
Mega
project with investment of Rs.
100 crore and above or any project
employing more then 500 persons
irrespective of investment to
be set up in the backward areas
would be extended for facility
of financia assistance to be
quantified at 50% of the tax
paid on the sale of goods produced
by such industrial under the
Haryana Value Aded Tex Act 2003
for loan (IEL) repayable after
a period of 5 years from the
date of IFL. |

INCENTIVES FOR SSI IN BACKWARD
AREAS. |
New
SSI units in the backward areas
would be extended the facility
of financial assistance in the
shape of interest free lone
to be quantified at 50% of the
tax paid on the sale of goods
produced in such industrial
under the Haryana Value Added
Tax Act 2003 for a period of
5 years from the date of Start
of Commercial production to
be repayable after a period
of 5 years. |

INCENTIVES FOR FOOD PROCESSING
INDUSTRIES |
1) Food processing industries
except wheat & rice will
be considered As seasonal
industry and exempted from
payment of minimum demand
charges for electricity during
the closure period of more
3 month .
2) No market fee shall levied
on agriculture and horticulture
produced used as raw material
by Food processing Industries
with in the Sate except rice,
wheat mustard oil and cotton.
3) Interest free lone at the
rate 75% of the tax aid on
the sale of goods produced
in such industrial unis shall
be given under the Haryana
Valuue Addeded tax Act 2003
for a period of 5 years from
the date of start of commercial
production. Oil and cotton.
4) Charges for Change of land
use for Food processing units
shall be levied @ 50% of normal
rates in state declared backward
areas.
5) Wines / Liquors / Brandy
etc made from 100% fruits
produced in the state will
be exempted from the excise
duty in backward areas.
Incentuives and connessions
shall be available only those
units which do not fall in
the negative list. |

The Govt of India has introduced
the New Micro , Small and Medium
Enterepreses Development Act 2006
which has become operational w.e.f2
Oct-2006 for setting up of enterprises.
under this act any person who
intends to establish a Micro small
or medium enterprise engaged improving
of services may file the memorandum
at his description and case of
medium Enterprises engaged in
the manufacture or production
of goods shall file the memorandum
of micro small or as the case
may be of medium enterprises with
Distt. Industries . |

REGISTRATION OF FIRMS AND SOCIETIES
|
| Powers
as Distt. Registrar has also been
delegated to the general manager
disst Industrics centre to register
the “societies” under
the societies Act 1860 and “Firms”
under the Indian Partnership Act
1932 from July 2003. |
